What is a good external cd drive for a Mac iBook? - external cd dvd
The drive from my Mac laptop is terminated opitcal mentioned. It makes me not load disk. I thought it was Geek Squad and was informed that the replacement would cost almost half the price of a new computer (which is not really in my budget at the time). But I still like to burn and play CDs. Has anyone suggestions on CD external hard drives work well with Macs?

You'll probably find something cheaper, even if all you want is to read burn CDs, and the size is not a problem.
You can also try http://www.powerbookmedic.com on an external hard drive or check your repair service and see if the price is better than Best Buy.
Even in the eye, most CD-ROM to keep an external drive with OSX. You can buy one at a Best Buy store and see if it works. If not, go back to Best Buy.
