In other words, they are much on the bike, but that work well in water and on the go? Is it fair to find faster and not a good idea?

Technically, yes you can, but I would not recommend it. I do not know about this short, but in general, if the bike so do not stand up well in chlorinated water in the pool. In addition, the deer are thick enough so that it would probably not be pleasant to walk
There are cycling shorts that you can use to triathlon, but I do not recommend swimming in the water with chlorine and more. In addition, the deer is quite thick, but very comfortable http://www.tribug.com/2009-de-soto-400mi ... De Soto Triathlon, it is ideal for short and it is the best bike shorts had
Since these shorts are so expensive that probably do not want to treat yourself, then too fast.
