How about a caramel sauce can be made in one piece? Apples, caramel, cinnamon, almonds .. All fit well together.

*** *** Karamellsauce

2 cups sugar
Water 1 / 4 cup
Cream 1 / 2 cup heavy
1 / 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract

Combine sugar and water in large saucepan over medium heat. Cook, turning around the pot until the mixture is a dark caramel color and seems to syrup, about 8 minutes. Carefully pour in cream (it's bubbling) and vanilla. Continue cooking for a minute. Cool to room temperature.

Frankly, it would be a regular icing. You do not want to remove the taste of that cake.

Difficulty: Easy
Duration: 10 minutes
Here's how:

1. Melt 1 / 4 cup (4 tablespoons) butter in a pan or microwave.
2. Sift 2 cups icing sugar in a medium bowl.
3. Add the melted butter, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
4. 2 tablespoons milk.
5. If desired, add 1 / 4 c. Teaspoon almond extract 1 / 2 teaspoon vanilla for flavor.
6. Whisk until smooth and creamy, a little milk if necessary.
7. Dew on a cooled cake.

Tips:

1. For a rich and creamy ice cream with whipped cream instead of milk.
2. Substitute for milk and juice and a little grated lemon peel glaze.

What you need:

* 1 / 4 cup butter
* 2 cups powdered sugar
* 2 tablespoons milk, more than
* Extract / flavoring

1 stick butter, 1 cup sugar, 1 / 2 cup evaporated milk 1 tablespoon vanilla tea, heat in a pan for a few minutes, drizzle on the cake .... better if you do so, during the warm cake.
